Puerto Cortes

Hello from Puerto Cortes. We are here visiting old haunts and friends- Puerto Cortes is where the ship was during our engagement, and where it is now. We arrived in Puerto Cortes yesterday, by "directo" bus. The trip was uneventful except we are both nursing colds and sore throats, which didn't make dusty roads much fun!
Last night we explored a little, ate Pupusas (corn tortillas stuffed with cheese) at our favourite Pupuseria and collapsed at the hotel. Today we plan to travel to Omoa (a beach community near here) for the weekend- probably our last chance to enjoy the beach on this trip. And hopefully we'll get over these colds!
