Grandes Noticias (Big News)!

I thought it was about time we shared our little secret online. I have tried to tell many people personally but please forgive me if this is the first time you have heard- it´s harder from such a distance.
Shortly before we left New Zealand we found out that in July next year we will be parents!! It came as a bit of a shock, and I have to say I didnt get a whole lot of work done in that last couple of weeks- between doctors visits and finiding a midwife and just getting our heads around the idea. But we are very happy and excited! I am now 2 months pregnant, and the baby is due on July 8 next year.
The pregnancy has been part of the reason we have been taking things a bit slower with the research, I tire very easily, and have had some morning sickness which has slowed us up. But hopefully that will resolve itself over the next few weeks as we have a lot of work to do!
Anyway- I have posted some pictures of the medical mission below, and under the pictures I`ve attempted to describe what we are doing here in La Ceiba. And I will keep updating this blog as to keep you up to date as both the pregnancy and research progress!
